TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to The Points Manipulator (“TPM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, services, subscription programs, and digital content (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

If you do not agree, you may not access or use any TPM Services.

 

1. ABOUT THE POINTS MANIPULATOR

The Points Manipulator is a travel rewards education and consulting brand offering:

 

1. The Lounge — a paid subscription membership providing exclusive educational content, guides, templates, digital downloads, case studies, newsletters, and other members-only materials.

2. Consulting Services — one-time paid strategy sessions and personalized points optimization plans.

3. Trip Planning Services — one-time paid individualized travel research and custom itineraries (no booking performed).

 

Each offering is distinct. Purchasing one does not automatically grant access to another.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

To use our Services, you must:

 

• Be at least 18 years old

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

• Provide accurate registration and payment information

 

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.

 

3. THE LOUNGE MEMBERSHIP

 

3.1 Description of Service

The Lounge is a subscription-based digital content membership that includes access to:

 

• Articles & strategy guides

• Downloadable planners, templates, and checklists

• Points redemption walkthroughs

• Travel case studies

• Private newsletters

• Member-only resources

• Curated photography content

• Other exclusive materials added over time

 

Content is for educational and personal use only.

 

3.2 Pricing

Monthly Plan

• Price: $11.95 per month (Founders pricing)

• Price remains locked as long as the subscription remains active

• If canceled and later reactivated, new pricing will apply

 

Annual Plan

• Billed once per year at a 20% discount

• Can only be canceled for a refund within 14 days of purchase

• After 14 days, the annual plan becomes non-refundable, but access remains active through the end of the paid period

 

We reserve the right to modify pricing for new customers at any time. Existing members with Founders Pricing will retain their rate unless they cancel.

 

3.3 Free Trials

We offer:

 

• 14-day standard free trial for new Lounge subscribers

• 30-day extended free trial for TPM consulting clients

• 30-day extended free trial for TPM trip planning clients

 

A valid payment method is required for all trials. If you do not cancel before the end of your trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

 

4. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

 

4.1 Monthly Subscription Cancellation

• You may cancel at any time.

• Your access will continue through the end of the current billing cycle.

• No refunds are issued for partial months, billing cycles already started, or unused access.

 

4.2 Annual Subscription Cancellation

• Refunds are available only within 14 days of purchase.

• After 14 days, the annual plan is non-refundable, even if you cancel early.

• If canceled after 14 days, access continues through the paid year; the plan simply does not renew.

 

4.3 Refund Exclusions

Refunds are not provided for:

 

• Downloaded or consumed digital content

• Partial billing periods

• Failure to use or access the Services

• Dissatisfaction with travel outcomes (see Disclaimer)

 

4.4 Failed Payments

If a payment method fails:

 

• You will receive notice and a grace period

• If the payment is not resolved, Lounge access will be suspended

• Access will resume immediately once payment is successful

 

5. CONSULTING SERVICES

Consulting is a separate one-time paid service. Consulting includes live sessions, strategy development, and personalized documents.

 

Consulting does not include Lounge access, but consulting clients receive a 30-day free trial to the Lounge.

 

Consulting services are non-refundable once delivered or once a session has occurred.

 

6. TRIP PLANNING SERVICES

Trip Planning is also a separate one-time paid service. Deliverables may include:

 

• Destination ideas

• Points-integrated hotel/flight research

• Experience, dining, and activity recommendations

• Customized itinerary documents

 

Trip Planning does not include Lounge access, except for a complimentary 30-day free trial.

 

TPM does not perform any bookings on your behalf and is not responsible for airline, hotel, loyalty program, or vendor changes.

 

Trip planning services are non-refundable once research has begun.

 

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All TPM content — including text, guides, photos, PDFs, videos, graphics, templates, planners, dashboards, and any other materials — is protected by intellectual property laws.

 

You may:

 

• Download content for personal use

• Save templates for your own trip planning

 

You may not:

 

• Share, republish, or distribute content

• Resell or commercialize any portion of TPM materials

• Reproduce our content outside your personal use

• Provide your login to others (“account sharing”)

 

Violations may result in account termination without refund.

 

8. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:

 

• Misuse or attempt to breach the Services

• Access content without proper subscription status

• Circumvent paywalls or access restrictions

• Upload harmful or illegal materials

• Harass or abuse TPM staff or other users

 

9. DISCLAIMERS

The Points Manipulator provides educational services only. Information regarding:

 

• Credit card rewards

• Loyalty programs

• Elite benefits

• Points valuations

• Travel redemptions

• Airline or hotel availability

 

…is not guaranteed.

 

We do not warrant:

 

• Award availability

• Upgrade success

• Travel pricing

• Redemption outcomes

• Accuracy of third-party program details (which change frequently)

 

TPM does not offer financial advice, legal advice, or tax advice.

 

Your travel decisions are your responsibility.

 

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

 

• TPM is not responsible for any losses arising from your travel arrangements, loyalty program decisions, credit card choices, or financial actions

• TPM is not liable for service interruptions, technical issues, or data inaccuracies

• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Services in the preceding 12 months

 

11. PRIVACY

Your use of TPM is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

 

• What data we collect

• How it is used

• How it is stored

• Your rights regarding your information

 

12. MODIFICATIONS

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of TPM Services constitutes acceptance of changes.
